Sheerwave® IPL 360

How does it work ?

The Sheerwave® IPL 360 is a device using a light-based technology that converts to heat to perform various skin treatments such as: wrinkles, pigmentation spots and redness. It also removes unwanted hair, visible symptoms of acne or even tattoos.

The broad spectrum pulsed light emitted by the Sheerwave® IPL 360 is transmitted through a continuously cooled applicator, gently placed over the skin. Cut-off filters in the hand piece change the range of wavelengths, optimizing it for different applications and skin types. The resulting light has a spectral range that targets specific structures and chromophores that are heated to destruction and reabsorbed by the body. The body’s natural processes then clear the lesion debris, giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance. Light energy can also target specific proteins present at the level of acne lesions.

The Sheerwave IPL 360® makes it possible to achieve a younger face quickly and without surgery. It improves skin tone, skin texture, the appearance of pigment spots, redness and helps to alleviate visible acne lesions.

Hair reduction

By targeting the hair bulb, the Sheerwave® IPL 360 permanently reduces unwanted hair. Equipped with a hand piece capable of covering a large surface, it allows extremely fast treatments.

Tattoo removal

The energy emitted by the Sheerwave® IPL 360 is capable of targeting the ink particles of the tattoo to decompose them into smaller particles that can then be easily removed by the body. (Black ink only)

How does it feel ?

A bright flash is emitted and a slight heat is dissipated. The Sheerwave® IPL 360 technology concentrates the majority of its energy beyond the cutaneous nerve endings thus significantly reducing the heat generated during the treatment. Adding an integrated cooling system, each treatment with the Sheerwave® IPL 360 turns into a comfortable, pain-free experience.
